LONDONDERRY

The Friends at Derry’s regular Sunday devotional meeting had a special honour on 7 August: they were joined by Mr and Mrs Ali Nakhjavani, who were en route form the summer school in Waterford to the one in Scotland. Mr Nakhjavani was kind enough to say a few words afterwards about the significance of devotional meetings – gatherings which have their origin in the Kitáb-i-Aqdas – which deepened the under-standing of those present. The Nakhjavanis were presented with a gift from the community, a framed Greatest Name rendered in encaustic wax by Derry’s resident artist Elizabeth Palin.
