EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

MEETING WITH THE NATIONAL SPIRITUAL ASSEMBLY

The National Spiritual Assembly will be meeting in Northern Ireland over the weekend 8-10 September.

As well as consulting with the Bahá'í Council with Assembly will be holding an open meeting with the Friends on Saturday 9 September in the Dunmurry Suite, Beechlawn Hotel, Dunmurry. The meeting will start at 7.30 pm. All Northern Ireland Bahá'ís are invited.

VISITORS COMING WHO WANT TO BE USED

Jimmy and Janak Magilligan will be visiting Northern Ireland from 26 September to 10 October. Not only would they like to take part in Bahá'í activities they are available to talk about the work of the Barli Institute (formerly the Bahá'í Vocational Institute for Rural Women) in Indore, India. Can you set something up in your area, a meeting for Bahá'ís and others, perhaps? A meeting of a like-minded organisation at which they can speak? A press interview? The Institute does some very good work and as a Bahá'í-inspired venture serving the wider community can be supported in all sorts of ways (including financial) by both Bahá'ís and non-Bahá'ís. To make contact please get in touch with Anne Munro, the Bahá'í Council’s Travel-Teacher Coordinator.
