CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF A LUMINARY

The Bahá’í Council for Northern Ireland warmly invites theBelievers and their friends to an event to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Passing of the Hand of the Cause of God GEORGE TOWNSHEND

Guide for those not familiar with Merville House:
Come along out of Belfast along the Shore Road. Pass under the M2. Go through the next lights and a few hundred yards later are the Merville Garden Village Shops on the left. Turn in and first left then 1st right. The House is the large white building behind the shops.


WEEKEND COURSE

On 10—11 March there will be a weekend spiritual development course in Coleraine and anyone interested in attending could they please drop me an email. Places are limited but would those interested please contact c.maani@btinternet.com. Mahvash Graham and Colette Maani have been working on a small spiritual enhancing programme aimed primarily at women's groups and would like to have some participants to gain feedback. The program will have creative activities and hopefully trigger discussion and growth. If you would like to give it a shot please contact Colette ae the above e mail. It is during the fast and that makes feeding participants much easier but we will break the fast together at sunset!

SUMMER SCHOOL 2007

The next Summer School Northern Ireland  will be held in the week 16 - 22 July 2007. The venue will, as in recent years,  be the popular Lorne Centre in County Down.Make a note now in anticipation of another great School nextyear!

The theme this year is Learning from the Past, Looking to the Future. As usual there will be a full programme for all age groups as well a social and other events. Speakers include Dan Wheatley, Wendi Momen, Patrick O'Mara, Lesley Taherzadeh O'Mara, Fidelma Meehan, Maureen Sier, Brendan McNamara, and Kay Hughes. Further information from the Registrar.

Lorne has good disabled access for main areas.


DATES FOR UNIT CONVENTIONS 2007

The dates for the forthcoming Unit Conventions in Northern Ireland are Saturday 27or Sunday 28 October 2006 (depending on area). The Bahá'í Council asks you to put these dates in your diary. Unit Convention is an important event for every Bahá'í. Alternative events should not be arranged for this weekend.
