Produced by Carolyn Sparey-Fox, this CD is clear evidence of the truth of these words. The subtle combination of the Word of God, read by carefully selected voices and interspersed with the soulful, almost ethereal strains from the viola make this creation a truly uplifting experience. These original musical settings, composed by Carolyn herself, are interspersed with carefully selected passages from the sacred texts. The thirty-two tracks in total, fifteen of which are music, are designed to be used separately or in combination, and include not only selections from the Hidden Words and the Seven Valleys but also four poems of Tahirih. The poems are read beautifully by Sarah Munro. The Writings are read by Jeremy Fox and Robert Gillies, whose velvet voices give this production grace, wrapping around the music in a very pleasing combination.
This CD is thoroughly recommended for use in devotionals or for personal meditation.
