Summer School in Cyprus

The Summer School in Cyprus is always a favourite with the Irish Friends—here is your information for this year.

Cyprus Summer School (South) will be held from 4th to 11th of July in Limassol, at the Miramare Hotel and Resort, on the shores of Mediterranean Sea (for more details, please visit www.miramare.com.cy).

The theme of the 2004 school is “The Life & the Vision of Shoghi Effendi”, which will be presented by a distinguished panel of speakers. In addition, there will be a separate programme for youth, newly married couples and unmarried adults focusing on “How to form and maintain a healthy relationship”. The programme consists of seminars by experts in the field of marriage and family life as well as interactive workshops on many related topics. Special programmes are devised for other age groups which are both educational and entertaining, including kindergarten activities for children.

The morning programmes of the school consists of presentations, seminars and workshops. However in the afternoon, there will be five hours of break which allow the participants to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the hotel and use its recreational facilities. Also, for those who prefer to stay indoor, there will be many optional programmes including daily show of documentaries.

The evening programmes are dedicated to art, music, theatre and many other entertaining programs. In addition, there will be one day sight seeing tour for those who are interested to discover the historic sites of the island.

We are also delighted to announce that, like last year, at the conclusion of the school, there will be a group visit to Holy Land for the period of 11th to 14th of July 2004.

We will shortly advise further details of the school and group visit to Holy Land and will post them on the website of the school which is: www.cyprusbahaisummerschool.com

Warmest Baha’i greetings,
The Organizing Committee
