ASSOCIATION OF BAHÁ'Í WOMEN (NI)

Flora Luck, who served on the ABW for two years, has asked to be relieved of being a member of the Core Committee to dedicate more of her energy in her local area (Coleraine). We will miss Flora but wish her all the very best.

Una Devlin, from Magherafelt, is replacing Flora and we warmly welcome her on the Committee.

Readers of CommuNIqué will have seen the report and photograph of the UNIFEM event in Magherafelt,, an indication of the sort of activity where ABW can outreach into the wider community and help the Faith.

ABW is holding its Annual General Meeting at Mount Zion House, Lurgan on 20 November from 9.30 am. – 4.00 pm. The liaison members will give their reports in the morning and in the afternoon there will be a wide variety of music, art, and fun, along with a talk on ‘The Juggle’ – Balancing Work and Family Life by Cllr Kate Lagan, former Chairperson of Magherafelt District Council.
