EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

NORTHERN IRELAND WINTER SCHOOL

Moyallon Centre and Friends Meeting House, 25 – 29 December 2007

The theme, “Unified action” is taken from the Universal House of Justice, last Ridván. They described some clusters, saying that “…the friends have continued to… weave their individual initiatives and collective endeavours into… unified action…” Winter schools are traditionally a time of universal participation. We have a wonderful array of volunteers who are organising programmes, sessions, devotionals and activities for all ages. The school will have a number of excellent speakers and everybody will have opportunities to contribute to the success of the school.

The creative arts are prominent at this school with arts and jewellery making, creative writing, photography, making a wall hanging, singing, dancing and juggling. Afternoon workshops include song writing, drumming and jamming, dance and creative movement. There will be tranquillity evenings with inspiring musical devotionals, entertainment and a quiz. The music and fun in the evenings will be great occasions for your friends and family and we would warmly encourage you to join us for these evening programmes. We look forward to seeing you either as a day visitor or as a resident.

Please register in advance: contact Edwin Graham.
