A promise was finally fulfilled just a day to the year after the passing of our beloved friend and mentor Adib Taherzadeh. A devotional was arranged just for the relatives of the family and those friends who had been unable to attend the previous memorial meeting. Keith Munros recollections of Adib touched the hearts brought laughter, tears and an insight into the depth of Adib himself. The audiovisual presentation so beautifully put together by Arjang and Edwina Agahi, enabled each one to have their own special memories.
The sound of laughter and his familiar voice reminded us of Summer Schools in the South of Ireland. The music reflected a title of Adibs background. There was a Persian Santor, accompanied by a Persian chant, a haunting Irish Air and a piece with Persian flute. Andalib Gornall played the piano for us. The whole experience was memorable.
